Did you know, 1 in 5 kids diagnosed with cancer in the U.S. won't survive? For those who do, more than 96% have severe or life-threatening conditions by the time they are 50.
Why am I shaving my head, and why should you care?
My cousin and I started shaving our heads since 2016, after getting inspired from my mom and our tia (aunt). This will be our third and possibly final time donating our hair. Each time we donated our hair, we added another year (or more) of growing our hair out to contribute more hair than the last donation. We have been growing our hair out and donating it for 5 years for this event. Since this will be our last time shaving our heads, our goal will be far and beyond. We hope you can help us achieve our goal!
Each shaved head, every dollar donated, creates a ripple effect of progress for kids with cancer.
Your gift will give kids and their families hope, supporting the best research across the country, through the largest charity funder of childhood cancer research grants, the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.
Together, let’s give these kids the lifetime they deserve. Thank you for your support!
