I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Why am I shaving my head, and why should you care?

My 13 year old brother, Tucker, was diagnosed with osteosarcoma last October.  I am living out the effects of cancer in our family.  It is so hard.  I hate to see Tucker sick.  I hate that my mom sleeps in the hospital with him for weeks.  I want cancer GONE.


A challenge among friends 25 years ago has become the largest volunteer movement to Conquer Kids’ Cancer. This year, I’m joining thousands of others  to raise money for childhood cancer research!  I have been growing my hair all year, preparing to cut off 10" to donate.


Each shaved head, every dollar donated, creates a ripple effect of progress for kids with cancer.

Your gift will give families like mine hope, supporting the best research across the country, through the largest charity funder of childhood cancer research grants, the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.

Together, let’s end cancer.
