I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Hi, I'm Thijs, and I'm shaving my head to raise money for St. Baldrick's Foundation, a charity that funds the most promising research to find cures for childhood cancers and give survivors long and healthy lives.

This cause is very personal to me because my brother, Crispin, was diagnosed with leukemia when he was only 2 years old. He had to go through years of chemotherapy, blood transfusions, and hospital stays. He was brave and strong. I'm happy to say that he completed his treatment in 2022 and is now in remission.

I'm joining St. Baldrick's Foundation, the largest private funder of childhood cancer research grants. They support the best scientists who are working to find new and better treatments and, ultimately, cures for all childhood cancers.

Every dollar you donate makes a difference and helps save lives.

Thank you for your generosity and compassion. Together, we can make a difference for kids with cancer.
