I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: sactown baldies

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: sactown baldies

St Baldrick's hits a milestone this year with its 25th year and I am proud to be participating for the 13th year. It is a tremendous cause and I wear my bald head with pride each time I shave. I am once again asking you to join me in this fight. Over the thirteen years I have been joined by my wife, my daughter, two of my grandchildren, my Son-in-Law and a few friends and I know that it has been as fulfilling for them as it has been for me.

Most of you know I was a teacher and/or coach for most of my adult life and you can't spend that long without being devastated by the idea of a life cut short by childhood cancer. This is why I shave. Please help support my effort in whatever way you can; through donations, having with us, spreading the word, more donations, coming to the shaving event on March 11, and maybe a donation.

Each shaved head, every dollar donated, creates a ripple effect of progress for kids with cancer.

Your gift will give kids and their families hope, supporting the best research across the country, through the largest charity funder of childhood cancer research grants, the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.

Together, let’s give these kids the lifetime they deserve. Thank you for your support!
