I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Why am I shaving my head with St. Baldrick’s? Because your donation “on my head” will actually save lives.

While we have been blessed to not have been affected by childhood cancer, we have had other forms of cancer in our family (breast cancer, brain tumors, melanomas), this is just a small way to try to help, in my own way. Kids with cancer need our support now more than ever.

St. Baldrick’s is the largest non-government funder of childhood cancer research grants, and the pandemic has slashed donations, slowing down the progress to find cures. Cancer kills more of our kids than any other disease. Research can change that, and I don’t want to let these kids down.

Any donation, large or small, will be greatly appreciated by me and the kids that are undergoing treatment! Thank you so much!

Dave

PS - To tie this to the kids, I will be traveling to Texas to visit grandkids in March and I will be letting them shave my head, they don't know it yet!  :)
