Why are we shaving our heads, and why should you care?Last year Mason & Ander's Elementary School principal invited students to participate alongside him in shaving their heads in support of the St. Baldrick’s Foundation. St. Baldrick’s mission is to fund the most promising childhood cancer research. As of 2023, St. Baldrick’s has committed more than $326 million to lifesaving research, making it the largest charity funder of childhood cancer research grants. On March 25, 2023, Mason & Ander shaved their heads in front of hundreds of supporters. Since then, they have been growing their hair out in anticipation of this year's Glenwood South St. Baldrick's Event at Raleigh Beer Garden on April 13, 2024. Even as young children, their lives have been impacted by the cancer diagnosis of friends and family members. They would be honored if you supported them with a donation to help exceed their fundraising goal of $1000. Each shaved head, every dollar donated, creates a ripple effect of progress for kids with cancer. Your gift will give kids and their families hope, supporting the best research across the country, through the largest charity funder of childhood cancer research grants, the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.Together, let’s give these kids the lifetime they deserve. Thank you for your support!
