YEAR 3! We got this! When Jacob started this journey in kindergarten (2022) he was being introduced to cancer. His great aunt (Mimi) was diagnosed and passed away from cancer all within 3 months. While she wasn’t a child, he learned what cancer was, what it can do to you, and all that it entails. Being the empathetic kid (he gets that from his dad!) that he is, he wanted to make a difference. We never thought he’d be able to fundraise what he has over the last two years and will now continue to fundraise and raise awareness that absolutely no child should fight alone or not be able to afford the treatment they deserve. Please help us in donating, sharing this page, and talking openly about childhood cancer. We appreciate EVERY person who has helped him on his journey! THANK YOU!
Why am I shaving my head, and why should you care?
A challenge among friends 25 years ago has become the largest volunteer movement to Conquer Kids’ Cancer. This year, I’m joining thousands of others to shave my head to raise money for childhood cancer research!
Did you know, 1 in 5 kids diagnosed with cancer in the U.S. won’t survive? For those who do, more than 96% have severe or life-threatening conditions by the time they are 50.
Each shaved head, every dollar donated, creates a ripple effect of progress for kids with cancer.
Your gift will give kids and their families hope, supporting the best research across the country, through the largest charity funder of childhood cancer research grants, the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.
Together, let’s give these kids the lifetime they deserve. Thank you for your support!
