I am shaving my head in remembrance of my Aunt Leedy who passed away in 2013 of Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma. I was barely two years old when she passed away. She was only 18 when she was diagnosed. She fought a long courageous battle for 22 years. I hope I can make a difference.
A challenge among friends 25 years ago has become the largest volunteer movement to Conquer Kids’ Cancer. This year, I’m joining thousands of others to shave my head to raise money for childhood cancer research!
