I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team CKCKC

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team CKCKC

Why am I shaving my head? My name is Eli. I am 12 years old. My parents found out that I had a tumor

when I was 11 months old because I was dragging my left foot when I crawled.

I had an MRI that showed I had a tumor in my spinal cord. I had a surgery where they cut open my back and spinal cord to take a piece of the tumor to find out what kind of tumor it was. They said I had a very rare tumor.

I had two years of chemotherapy (which, in case you're wondering, sucked). I still have the tumor in my spine but it hasn't grown since I was three.

I am shaving and fundraising so not as many kids have to go through what I had to go through. I hope we can find cures for childhood cancer and tumors.

Your donation will help people like me live a healthier life. This year at CKCKC is a different year for me though, this year i am co running with Mahin for my bar mitzva project! hopefully we can raise a lot of money this year! Please donate!
