I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research

Thank you for all your support in making this event a success.

My Sweet Christian was diagnosed with a brain tumor in May of 2021.  No words can describe what it's like to have a child with cancer.  Christian is so strong and courageous, his attitude and spirit has made me so proud.  I like many others have learned so much from him.  This is so important to Christian to make a difference for other Kids and families.  This comes from the heart and what we live daily.

thank you, Lisa

Christian's Story:

After returning from his Junior year of college Christian began experiencing excruciating headaches. After a second trip to the hospital the doctors found a tumor mass behind the frontal lobe in his head the size of a small apple. After a few days in the hospital the doctors were ready to operate. It took back to back brain surgeries totaling over 10 hours to remove the mass in his head. Biopsy revealed the mass was a Glioblastoma Tumor, an aggressive and dangerous type of brain tumor. The news was shocking but with a positive attitude he went into treatment headstrong. After his first round of chemo and 6 weeks of radiation Christian decided to return to college and finish his Senior year. He continued chemo through his senior year, coming home for scans and doctors. Christian graduated May of 2022 a huge accomplishment with all he went through. Christian is remission since September 2022. He continues with scans every four months now and continues to keep a positive attitude.

Can you think of anything more important than saving the life of a child?

At our event, some will shave their heads – and others like me will keep the hair we have and put our hearts into supporting research to find cures and safer treatments for all childhood cancers.

Why?

Because cancer is the #1 disease killer of kids.

This is why I’m teaming up with St. Baldrick’s – the #1 charity funder of childhood cancer research grants – in their 25th year.

Your donation can help ensure that the next 25 years bring hope, progress, and cures. Together, we speed up the progress of saving the lives of these brave children.

Thank you for your donation!
