I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Welcome Back.

I am Honoring Wally & The fight against Childhood Cancer

I am humbled and proud to say last year we raised $800.00 towards research for childhood cancer.

I 'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research and in memory of my Father-In Law, Walter Wozny. Pop was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer during the summer of 2017. Pop was famous or infamous for his lifetime hair style "The Doo". My thought was that when it came time for Chemo/Radiation and the possibility of him losing his hair I didn't want him to do it alone. I would shave my head also. Unfortunately, this disease was too much and even though he fought it with the greatest determination, strength, honor and courage, witnessing it first hand, he could not fight anymore. He lost his battle in under 100 days . After Wally passed I wanted to continue honoring this amazing person. ---I continued with my plan to honor my father in law and raise money for cancer. All the money we raise will be contributed to St. Baldricks and also be donated in his name. As always, as in life and now in death, he is always helping others.....
