I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Constitution Cancer Crushers

It is that time of year again. We are in the midst of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and 2 weeks away from the 2023 Constitution Day Parade! Once again, i will be shaving my head to help raise awareness for St. Baldrick's and the Constitution Cancer Crushers.

The Constitution Cancer Crusher team was formed by a group of 4th graders that wanted to help raise awareness for childhood cancer research after one of their friends was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma. They wanted to support their friend DJ and asked me if i would be willing to shave my head with them. That was 5 shaves ago...and, as long as they continue to have a team at an event (and i have hair)...i will keep doing it!

We lost DJ the following year, and we have since seen other Louisville kids battle cancer, one is just starting her fight, some have gone into remission, and this summer, we lost another student, Blake, the brother of one of my 4th graders last year. We will continue to raise awareness!

ANY donation is greatly appreciated! Look for me on Sunday, September 24th in Louisville's Constitution Day Parade as my head gets shaved during the parade. I have been letting it grow...for this event!

Anyone else want to "Brave the Shave" get ahold of me or go to my page and it will help you get started (you don't HAVE to do it in the parade).
