What could be more important than saving the life of a child??

September 9th 2023 at 5 pm I will be shaving heads of volunteers who have raised money themselves or are being brave and raising awareness to help stop childhood cancer and find a cure. Please share your support and help me by donating towards finding a cure. Every dollar counts, no donation is too small.

St. Baldricks is a foundation that is especially close to my heart. My son Michael Manteris was diagnosed with AML Leukemia on October 3, 2016 he was later diagnosed with MDS and a gene mutation of FLT 3 ITD. Michael passed away on March 30, 2017 after battling in the hospital at CHLA for 5 months. Michael was actually cancer free when he passed but his body was not strong enough to survive after the chemotherapy and his bone marrow transplant. His lungs were not strong enough. With more research I am certain there will soon be a cure or other avenues that will occur while receiving treatment and can save many lives. No parent should watch the deterioration of their child before them, no sibling should be told their brother isn’t going to get better. No 12 year old boy should be robbed of the many, many milestones he never got the opportunity to surpass. Michael is so missed everyday and will never be forgotten.

All funds that are raised are put towards childhood cancer research. I’m asking all my friends and family to please donate whatever you can to the research for childhood cancer. I do believe we are so close to finding a cure for this awful disease. I need your help to raise awareness and funds for our innocent children. ???

Research is hope for kids with cancer, but donations to find cures have been down since 2020.

Your gift will give kids hope by supporting the best research across the country, through the largest charity funder of childhood cancer research grants.

Cancer kills more of our kids than any other disease. I don’t want to let these kids down. Can you help? Thank you!
