I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Audrey Jean!

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Audrey Jean!

Why am I shaving my head with St. Baldrick’s?

Did you know that 1 in 285 children will be diagnosed with cancer before their 20th birthday? Did you know that 1 in 6 that are unfortunately diagnosed with this disease in America do not survive five years?

These numbers are absolutely heartbreaking and no family should ever hear, “your child has cancer”. Sadly, a dear friend of mine had those words said to her last year about her beautiful baby girl. Carrie and her family have handled this with so much grace, faith and it’s truly empowering. I can say they’re absolutely warriors, still fighting their fight.

So on September 30th, I’ll be shaving my head in honor of her sweet daughter, Audrey Jean. Also, to help raise awareness and money to fund research.

Not only is the is for Audrey, but for every child and family affect by cancer. To my family, friends and all in between who has lost someone, currently fighting or who has fought their fight to cancer. This is for YOU.

Let’s end childhood cancer, let’s find a cure.

Please consider being apart of the fight.

Thank you.

xoxo, Ana.
