I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Lindsey

Why am I shaving my head with St. Baldrick’s? Because your donation “on my head” will actually save lives.

It has been a tough few years after losing my Mom to cancer and recently my Dad. It is never easy to lose a loved one. This year marks 16 years of shaving my head with the St. Baldrick's Foundation. It makes me sad that some children never make it to the sweet sixteens, but it is amazing how many have defeated this disease more now than ever and can celebrate this milestone of reaching their 16th birthday.

As we begin September, we head into Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. I will continue to love and honor Little Lindsey who has brought so much joy and strength to everyone around her in her short five years with us. It is hard to believe that she would've turned 21 a few days after this year's event. So cheers to you Lindsey! We miss you.

As we go on, advances have been made in finding cures to the many childhood cancers, and with your donation it will continue to make a difference as it always does each year.

Let’s continue to be the change and it starts with research with our help. Cancer kills more of our kids than any other disease so lets battle that fight head on and don't let the kids down. Can you help?

Thank you all from the bottom of my heart!!
