I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Odyssey Group

Odyssey Group is excited and proud to announce that we will be coming together with our fellow Stamford-based (re)insurers and brokers to hold a single, collective event to support this wonderful cause.

While I may not be shaving my head, I am doing my part in planning this event and proud to be part of such a great team here in Stamford.

While the St. Baldrick’s Foundation has become a globally recognized force in the effort to raise funds and awareness in support of juvenile cancer research, many may not be privy to its origin within the (re)insurance industry. The first head shaving and fundraising event took place in 2000 at a reinsurance industry St. Patrick’s Day party in NYC, and we are all very excited to be a part of this group of locally-based companies continuing the tradition!

In 2019, this event raised over $245,000 and in 2020 we raised over $145,000! Due to covid we have not been able to come together for a joint event, so this year we are hoping to beat our record and raise $300,000!

Your gift will give kids hope by supporting the best research across the country, through the largest charity funder of childhood cancer research grants.

Cancer kills more of our kids than any other disease. I don’t want to let these kids down. Can you help? Thank you!
