I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Why am I shaving my head with St. Baldrick’s? In January, I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. For me, it has been an emotional rollercoaster, so I can’t imagine what it must be like for the littlest cancer warriors. In the U.S. 1 in 5 children diagnosed with cancer will not survive. Governments and foundations fund more research for adult cancers so St. Baldrick’s Foundation is working to close the funding gap.

Since the St. Baldrick's Foundation began, the 5-year survival rate has risen from above 79% to 85%.

On Saturday, 4/22 at 2:00 PM during a special a special ComedySportz® match, I’ll be shaving my head to honor local kids who are currently battling cancer. I also aim to raise $1500. Kids with cancer need your help more than ever. Would you be willing to help with your support?
