I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research
This year I made a friendly wager with our 8th grade class on our annual teacher vs. 8th grade volleyball game. Both the student and I agreed that whoever lost would make this pledge to shave our head at St. Baldrick's this year and raise money to help combat childhood cancer. The teachers had not lost in years but this year the class of 2023 shocked the world. See the link in the video below to show some game day photos....https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-l_aZ-qFA3o&feature=youtu.be&themeRefresh=1
Years ago I watched as Shane came and inspired our students. I just hope that we can help make a difference in his honor.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids
Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.
