I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Duff

This will be my 6th year raising money for St. Baldricks. Many kids each day are diagnosed with cancer. I wanted to help stop that. I did St. Baldricks for the first time in kindergarten when I realized my neighbor’s little brother had cancer before we knew them. I wanted to do something to help other kids who have cancer.

When I got shaved for the first time, I looked up at the crowd and saw everyone cheering. Then I saw people sticking their hands out to give me a high-five. I felt supported by Stratfield and made me even happier to shave my head.

It feels really good to raise money to help kids that are sick!
