I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: St. Juliana School

Why am I shaving my head with St. Baldrick’s? Because your donation “on my head” will actually save lives. Kids with cancer need our support now more than ever. St. Baldrick’s is the largest non-government funder of childhood cancer research grants, and the pandemic has slashed donations, slowing down the progress to find cures. This is one of my favorite traditions that I have been doing for a long time. It took on added significance in my life when my daughter was diagnosed in 2018 with OMS, a rare neurological disorder. Part of her diagnosis was the discovery of a neuroblastoma which was removed. Through our journey at Lurie Children's, we met so many amazing kids and families fighting difficult journeys. Avery continues to battle as well as so many other warriors out there. We all can play a part by joining in for this amazing cause. One day, we really are going to beat this thing. This year I want to especially dedicate it to Molly and the Morris Family. She is forever in our thoughts and prayers. Molly Strong forever! Cancer kills more of our kids than any other disease. Research can change that, and I don’t want to let these kids down. Can you help? Thank you so much!
