I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I am shaving my head on March 25 in Rockville Centre with St. Baldrick’s to raise money to fund research so we can find a cure for children's cancer. I am participating in this moving event for the first time in honor of Gabriella Pellicani, the daughter of our close friends Nick and Fabiana Pellicani. Gabi became an angel on October 16, 2018, after being diagnosed with midline diffuse glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer, in December 2017. Gabi's bravery and fight for 10 months, was, and is inspiring. With your donation “on my head,” together, we can save lives!

Your gift will give kids hope, supporting the best research across the country, through the largest charitable funder of childhood cancer research grants.

Cancer kills more of our kids than any other disease. I don’t want to let these kids down. Can you help? Thank you! I am grateful for all those who consider making a small donation.

We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
