I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Twenty-Two and Counting

So here we are, 2023, and I am participating in my 22nd St. Baldrick's event. And while I am not "planning" on shaving this year, you never know. I wasn't going to shave last year, but lo and behold I ended the day bald again!! They still haven't found a cure, and I made that promise to a very special young boy all those years ago. Andy, I still do this for you, and I hope you are proud of the work your big brother has done. And now I also do this for my nephew, Owen. He and his brothers have all participated over the years, as have Andy's other brothers. With all these young men, and the sons of my good Baldrick's friend, Sara-Summer, coming up the ranks, I feel confident stepping back and allowing them to carry on the tradition I have started. I WILL ask my friends and family to continue to donate and help fund this much needed research. Twenty two years and counting, wow, thank you all for enabling me to do this for so long.
