I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Why am I shaving my head with St. Baldrick’s? Because your donation “on my head” will actually save lives. Kids with cancer need our support now more than ever. St. Baldrick’s is the largest non-government funder of childhood cancer research grants, and the pandemic has slashed donations, slowing down the progress to find cures. Cancer kills more of our kids than any other disease. Research can change that, and I don’t want to let these kids down. Can you help? Thank you so much! A co-worker of mine recently lost his 14-year old son. I can’t imagine the pain of losing a child. How unfair - to the child, their family and friends. I think of the joy and pride I have in the men Nick and Josh have brought us, and how they’ve given back to the community. I can’t see what my life would be without them. Like many fans of the Red Sox through their support, I’ve heard about the fight against cancer in children as long as I can remember. Going to the St Baldrick’s fundraiser at Looney’s is the right thing. Come if you can to laugh at me, but please support it if you can. We all yell at each other on social media about this team or that political argument. We can all agree on this one. Think what your life would be without a child - now do something about it. Thank you, all.
