I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

My mother was diagnosed with cancer when I was 12 years old. Although I didn’t receive the diagnosis myself, I felt every bit of the struggle that she went through.

After 6 long years of chemotherapy, doctor’s appointments, and surgeries, my mom lost her fight in 2016. Cancer changed my life forever.

I have chosen to participate in the St. Baldrick’s fundraiser this year as a way to continue my mother’s legacy. She loved people with all of her heart and would do anything to help those in need. She brought laughter and light to all that she came in contact with.

Why am I shaving my head with St. Baldrick’s? Because with your donation “on my head,” together, we can save lives.

Research is hope for kids with cancer, but donations to find cures have been down since 2020.

Your gift will give kids hope, supporting the best research across the country, through the largest charitable funder of childhood cancer research grants.

Cancer kills more of our kids than any other disease. I don’t want to let these kids down. Can you help? Thank you!
