I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Emerson 7

I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Emerson 7

Hi! I am Avery Udzielak from district 64 and I am helping raise money for kids with cancer.

At my district students can volunteer to help raise money. I am one of those students, and my goal is to get $1,350 by March 8th and also be one of the highest donator. If I am one of the highest donators then I can shave my homeroom teacher’s (Mr.Lawson) head.

We also have other bigger goals to accomplish. My grade’s goal is to get the most money in the school. My school’s goal is to get more money than the other schools in my district. For my district we are trying to raise $500,000.

On the 8th, students and teachers who are passionate enough to shave their head will shave their head or cut off 10 inches of hair for cancer patients. (that will be made into a wig) I am not a student who will do that, but shaving your head is just as goods as giving a patient $400.

I am lucky to be healthy. But, some kids just are unfortunate. Did you know that 1 out of 300 kids get cancer?

It just takes a lot of work and YOUR donations to help those kids be happy, health, safe, and fortunate. So, could you help me help them? Thanks for you time!
