I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Clinical Pearls

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Clinical Pearls

In 2015 as a member of the Lake Forest College softball team, I got to meet the sassiest,  spunkiest, funniest warrior. Mia was diagnosed in October 2011 with a brain tumor called Pilomyxoid Astrocytoma and through the Friends of Jaclyn Foundation in 2012, Mia became an honorary member of the LFC softball team. Unfortunately, Mia lost her battle with cancer in 2017, but her spirit lives on and her strength will never be lost on me.

I will be donating my hair and then shaving it at Ballydoyle, and I'd love all the support from friends/classmates!

Research is hope for kids with cancer, but donations to find cures have been down since 2020.

Your gift will give kids hope, supporting the best research across the country, through the largest charitable funder of childhood cancer research grants.

Cancer kills more of our kids than any other disease. I don’t want to let these kids down. Can you help? Thank you!
