I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Norma j roe

Norma J. Roe was born in the southeast side of Chicago. Norma was raised by her mother after she lost her father at nine months old in a car accident.

Norma went to a magnet school on the south side of Chicago. after graduating middle school, she then went to Bowen high school. after high school she then furthered her education by graduating from southern Illinois university, with a chemistry degree. she went on to work for DuPont. she then married, but never had children. Norma took care of her mother until she passed at 94.

she had her lifelong friend Janie medina. that because she was an only child Norma, and Janie became sisters. going to see the Beatles and traveled the world together. Norma contracted pancreatic cancer. she then lost her battle to cancer in 2015 she was missed very dearly by her family, and friends.
