When I (Ethan) was four years old, I saw a St. Baldricks sign that read, "Be a hero!" I told my mom that I wanted to be a hero too, and that year she and I shaved our heads and raised $1,500. After that year our family has been involved in both shaving as well hosting events, yet it has been many years since Oliver or I have shaved. Since our experience shaving, one thing we don't take for granted is our hair; children lose their hair during treatment and it is a very scary experience for them. Oliver and I hope that the hair we shave gives the children fighting cancer the strength to keep fighting. When you donate to see us shave you are aiding us in funding the research to fight childhood cancer
Kids with cancer need our support now more than ever. St. Baldricks is the largest non-government funder of childhood cancer research grants, and the pandemic has slashed donations, slowing down the progress to find cures.
Cancer kills more of our kids than any other disease. Research can change that, and I don’t want to let these kids down.
Ethan –
This is my last year of high school. With the donations, I intend to make a positive impact in order to help kids beat cancer and graduate just like me. Thank you for helping me reach my $1,500 goal to fund the search for a cure.
