I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Rocking Bald For The Cause

The stories of 124 children can be found within the "honored kids" section of our event page. We dedicate our event to them and their families. These children are battling or have battled some form of childhood cancer and they are either from SC or have SC ties. We rejoice for the 89 that survived and I dedicate my personal participation as a shavee to the 35 that left us much too soon. I pledge to never forget them nor why we do this.


Why am I shaving my head with St. Baldrick’s? Because your donation “on my head” will actually save lives.

Kids with cancer need our support now more than ever. St. Baldrick’s is the largest non-government funder of childhood cancer research grants, and the pandemic has slashed donations, slowing down the progress to find cures.

Cancer kills more of our kids than any other disease. Research can change that, and I don’t want to let these kids down. Can you help? Thank you so much!
