Why am I shaving my head with St. Baldrick’s? Because your donation “on my head” will actually save lives.
Many of you know that I am currently undergoing chemotherapy for Stage 2 Triple Negative Breast Cancer… whilst I will ultimately lose all my hair due to the treatment I have decided to be proactive and make it a positive experience to raise funds for children’s cancer in the process and will shave my head live (if I can figure that out with social media technology) or I’ll post the full video on my instagram account. Andy will be the barber for added effect - he has purchased a new set of clippers for the occasion. I really hope you will support this charity; whilst undergoing chemotherapy is incredibly tough I just can’t imagine how much children with cancer have to go through at such young ages.
Kids with cancer need our support now more than ever. St. Baldrick’s is the largest non-government funder of childhood cancer research grants, and the pandemic has slashed donations, slowing down the progress to find cures.
Cancer kills more of our kids than any other disease. Research can change that, and I don’t want to let these kids down. Can you help? Thank you so much!
