I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Why am I shaving my head with St. Baldrick’s? Cancer  is a very unforgiving  disease.  It doesn't care about how old or young you are or your gender, rich or poor or the color of your skin. It is a relentless  disease that doesn't care and I'm doing it for my mom, my brother and my sister and all of the children  who have this horrible  disease and that they are so brave and beautiful. I've donated blood for years  and when I got hair cut  I use to donate it to locks of love. So, to me this is one of the next steps or journeys I'm  taking.  I know that shaving “on my head” will actually save lives.

Kids with cancer need our support now more than ever. St. Baldrick’s is the largest non-government funder of childhood cancer research grants, and the pandemic has slashed donations, slowing down the progress to find cures.

Cancer kills more of our kids than any other disease. Research can change that, and I don’t want to let these kids down. Can you help? Thank you so much!

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
