My name is Dorrian Cohen, I am a sophomore in Baumer Hall. I will be participating in St. Baldrick's as one who will be shaved.
Contrary to what some believe, I am not shaving my head so that I can look like my brother, Austin, as he began INDOC at the Merchant Marine Academy.
Instead, I hope that my shining scalp will serve to raise both awareness for childhood cancers and funds for research to treat those cancers.
Just as I cannot shave my head (safely) without a hair buzzer, I cannot raise funds without you. Thus, I humbly ask that you make a donation to my page or anyone else's page from Baumer so that we can reach our goal of $8,000 for cancer research.
We have all been affected somehow in our lives by cancer and this is an opportunity to help children who are suffering from these diseases.
As an added incentive, if we reach $6,000, our rector, Fr. Robert Lisowski, C.S.C., has agreed to have his head shaved.
If any one of these reasons appeal to you, please do make a donation of any size.
Thank you.
