I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

As many of you know, I'm Jack L., a 10 year old in 4th grade at St. Gabriel. Similar to the last 3 years, I am going BALD to raise money for childhood cancer research.

I've been growing my hair out just to shave it all and am so excited!! I have set a personal goal to raise $2,500, which would support 100 hours of clinical research AND one kid in a clinical trial - which is often their best hope for a cure.

For those not aware, St. Baldrick’s is the largest private funder of childhood cancer research grants – more than $314 million worldwide to date. But the pandemic has slashed donations, slowing down the progress to find cures.  Funding is down almost $40 million over the last 2 years from pre-pandemic levels.

With a kid being diagnosed with cancer every 2 minutes (1 in 5 in the US will not survive), I hope you will help me help them in their fights for long, healthy, cancer-FREE lives!  If you are able, please consider donating on my fundraising page to help cure childhood cancers! Your donation can fund research to help kids survive and thrive.

Thank you!

Jack
