I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Leonardo DRS

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Leonardo DRS

Why am I shaving my head with St. Baldrick’s?

Well if you know me, you know. In 2018 I shaved my head in solidarity with my then six year old daughter after her first chemo treatment for Ewing sarcoma in her left third anterior rib. I didn’t let my hair start growing again until hers did, almost ten months later.

When she started getting regular haircuts again, I decided that I could too, and I decided the best way would be to attend an event with St. Baldrick’s and try to give a little bit back to the community that saved my daughter’s life.

A lot of families never get to go back to “something like normal”. The kind of research funded by St. Baldrick’s can help more kids like mine have a chance for a happy ending to their treatment stories. Can you help? Thank you so much!
