I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Brevard’s Bravest  Brave Like Blake

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Brevard’s Bravest  Brave Like Blake

My mom shaved her head for 7 years straight. What I saw was bravery and courage. She is a fierce fighter of pediatric cancer. Through her I have learned that the joy of having an impact on others lives is greater than anything money can provide. --Ethan Ethan is continuing this event in Blake's name. Blake is a sweet little girl who is the daughter of one of my dearest friends. I always find my reason and purpose well into any adventure in my life. I did not learn my purpose as a nurse until I had the honor of creating a legacy with an amazing mom for her son Max. My reason for becoming a nurse in 1995 did not show itself for over 20 years. The same can be said about my strong need to raise money through the St. Baldrick's event. But years later (last Oct) sweet Blake was diagnosed with Wilm's tumor. And I knew that day God put me here to help Blake and all kids fighting cancer. If you have not met Blake let me tell you this little is amazing! She has a contagious smile that never leaves her face. She is SO BRAVE! Please join Ethan and I in the fight against pediatric cancer in Max and Blakes names. We can make a difference and we will! Kids with cancer need our support now more than ever. St. Baldrick’s is the largest non-government funder of childhood cancer research grants, and the pandemic has slashed donations, slowing down the progress to find cures. Cancer kills more of our kids than any other disease. Research can change that, and I don’t want to let these kids down. Can you help? Thank you so much!
