I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team VFW Post 5812

MARCH 19th is getting closer and I haven’t even gotten to the halfway mark to my fundraiser goal. It’s time to bring in the heavy hitters and invoke memories of Elizabeth Springer and of my son, Geoffrey Springer, how they bravely battled cancer. The picture of the two of them was taken in March 2019 while Geoff was in hospice. It was also that same month that Liz participated in her last St. Baldrick’s head shaving event. By the end of April, they had both departed their earthly existence to reside in a spiritual one.

Even when the end was so near, Liz gave freely of her time and gladly participated in the fundraising to battle childhood cancers.

Please use the link below to view a photo album of us and to make an online donation. Help me reach my goal and give yourself a pat on the back for helping defeat childhood cancer.

Thank you
