Hi! I’m Allison. Hair is a big part of my life and I’m sure it is a big part of many others lives. I am fortunate enough to choose to lose my hair, some kids with cancer have no choice. For me, hair helps me to express myself and it is something I treasure. Although I appreciate the hair on my head, it is more meaningful to me to stand in solidarity with the people who have had lost hair due to cancer and treatment.
Shaving my head and raising money for childhood cancer research is a small price to pay for the enormous amount of help that it will bring. Please consider donating and supporting the research it takes to save lives.
Why am I shaving my head with St. Baldrick’s? Because your donation “on my head” will actually save lives.
Kids with cancer need our support now more than ever. St. Baldrick’s is the largest non-government funder of childhood cancer research grants, and the pandemic has slashed donations, slowing down the progress to find cures.
Cancer kills more of our kids than any other disease. Research can change that, and I don’t want to let these kids down. Can you help? Thank you so much!
