I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Why am I shaving my head with St. Baldrick’s? Because your donation “on my head” will actually save lives. 15 years ago my sister ( Michelle) was diagnosed with lung cancer, 5 years ago her husband (Mark) was diagnosed with lung and brain cancer. Today they are both still here which goes to show the changes that medicine has made through the years. Now, yes...they are adults, but imagine being a child and having to battle for your life ! Where a hospital hall is your playground, where your hospital bed is a rocket ship, and the heart and blood pressure monitors are the controls for launch. Adults have a horrible time with chemo, operations, etc. Imagine a child.  This is a long road we have to find cures, but it's a road we can all help each other on. Keep fighting the good fight !
