I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Santa & Port City Brewery

Why am I shaving my head with St. Baldrick’s? Because your donation “on my head” will actually save lives.

Many of you know that I am a cancer survivor - diagnosed with an aggressive case of Large B Cell Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma in July 2010.  My treatment was intense and I was so very blessed to have so many loved ones journey with me.  I never gave up hope and never believed that the cancer would win...it took a lot of prayers and a couple of years, but in December of 2013 I was declared Cancer Free!  My sister, Mary, was always one of my strongest supporters - never was there a woman of more faith, grace and kindness.  She battled cancer three times and in March of 2020 this disease claimed her life.  She lived with such dignity and hope up until the last moment.  I will always do what I can to help bring an end to cancer.

I proudly join my good friend, Heavenly Santa, Craig Stewart, in this endeavor.

Kids with cancer need our support now more than ever. St. Baldrick’s is the largest non-government funder of childhood cancer research grants, and the pandemic has slashed donations, slowing down the progress to find cures.

Cancer kills more of our kids than any other disease. Research can change that, and I don’t want to let these kids down. Can you help? Thank you so much!
