I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Mitchell

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Mitchell

Why am I shaving my head? I am doing this to raise awareness about Pediatric Cancer. Unfortunately, each year in the U.S, there are prominently 16,000 children between the ages of birth and 19 are diagnosed with pediatric cancer. Also, every 2 minutes, parents hear the gut-wrenching phrase that their child has cancer. I feel a great deal of empathy toward families knowing what cancer does to them. I have had my own personal experiences with cancer in my family. But, I cannot imagine the heartache a parent feels when they are told their child has cancer.  All I want to do is make sure that all of the kids fighting pediatric cancer have the assurance that they are not alone, that they are not different, and that they are going to win this horrible battle with flying colors.

With these donations, the St. Baldrick's Foundation will use every penny to help these kids. Whether it be from life-saving research or giving these children and their families the best support possible. I can assure you that your generous donations will be put to incredible use and help save a life. Thank you so much!
