I'm shaving my head with St. Baldrick's to raise money and help conquer kids' cancers! Every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer worldwide, and 1 in 5 of those in the U.S. will not survive.
Those of you that know me personally, most likely know that this is my seventh year as a "shavee" and my initial goal was to raise $25K in five years, and while I missed that 5-year goal by less than $2K, we closed out year 6 with a cumulative raised amount of $27,090.
COVID set us all back a little, but children's cancers didn't take a break, so let's aim for a goal of $8,000 this year, which will put us over $35,000 raised in our 7 year campaign.
We can do it! As you can see by my hairline, I'm not sure how many more of these I can do, so let's raise the money to reveal my face...if I can raise over $10K this year, with your help, I will shave my head and my full beard! This is a great organization, as children should not be forced to endure the stress of dealing with cancer, especially before even getting the chance to enjoy their lives. We've all had this nasty disease affect us in one way or another, which is why I believe that with your support, we can assist this organization in finding a cure and helping children get their chance to live.
