I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

In what has been a hard year for everyone, it feels more important than ever to really dig into the communities and events that mean the most to you. St. Baldrick's is that place for me. It will be my tenth year shaving my head in honor of my brother Klaus to raise both money and awareness for childhood cancer research. I am so excited to shave my head with BHS who has taken the event started in 2018 to new heights, there is no one else I would rather shave with! In thinking about what this community and organization means to me, I think it's really about going outside of yourself to make an impact. This year, with every donation, I wanted to do something that pushed my comfort zone, giving a stranger a compliment. So I urge you with any donation you make to promise yourself to do at least one act of kindness that might push you out of your comfort zone :~)
