I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

On top of the reasons outlined by every Participant of St. Baldricks, I shave because my Cousin lost her son after fighting cancer for many years. I listened to stories from his grandfather about what a beautiful soul he was and how positive. How he touched everyone he came in contact with. I remember a dinner with him in New Smyrna and he was full of energy and joy, you never would have known his struggles by the smile he kept on his face. I want to help other families from suffering the loss my cousin did, because myself as a mother could never imagine such pain.

I'm shaving my head with St. Baldrick's to raise money and help conquer kids' cancers! Every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer worldwide, and 1 in 5 of those in the U.S. will not survive.

I refuse to accept this reality, so I’ve decided to fundraise for lifesaving research to find cures and better treatments for kids.

Now I need your support! Your donation can fund research to help kids survive and thrive.
