I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: LES'S  Lester’s Lifeshavers ❤️

February greetings one and all,

Here's to you and yours and hoping the words of this heartfelt message, fall under your eyes and the eyes of many others in the coming weeks as I begin my 13th year as a SHAVEE/Fundraiser  (Knight Commander at that) in the largest St. Baldricks Fundraising event in New Jersey and one that ranks consistently in the top 10 nationally.

I'm so blessed to be part of this incredible event and as I look back on the years I've participated and the faces and names and the generous gifts and fundraising that occurred during that span...It quite simply humbles me beyond measure.

In that time, my little school along with dozens of students, both girls and boys, parents and friends, decided to take a stand against pediatric cancer and get out there and actually do something bold and something incredible, that can truly make a difference in the life of a child living with some form of pediatric cancer.

The numbers never lie and there are just too many children stricken with these terrible diseases to count. It's why I continue to participate and urge you to join me and support me if you can, to continue to fight the good fight as well !!!

I've decided to honor three kids this year, two of whom are now angels in our midst and one who is truly a walking miracle. Ethan Toohey (15) and Jillian Massey (6) were both incredible and beloved human beings whose precious lives were cut short by cancer. I'm also honoring Aaron Thompson a young man, from our host town of Lawrenceville, NJ,  who has bravely fought that fight and is now in remission.

I know we are living in very challenging and uncertain times...perhaps now more than ever, at least for the current population's existence. I have never achieved my goal of raising $5,000 in a calendar year although I have set it as my goal for many of the last several campaigns. I'm hoping and praying I can do it this year and with your help, I know I can.

Collectively through the years, I've been able to raise almost $36,000, and my little school in Lawerenceville, with the help of students and parents, we've raised an astonishing $192K !!!  We want to get over the $200K mark this year and continue to add to the nearly $1.5 Million the Lawrencille St. Baldricks event has raised through the years.

If you can, I hope you will send a donation of support and love for this very laudable cause. St. Baldricks is one of the only pediatric fundraising organizations where nearly .90 cents of every dollar donated goes directly to the painstaking and expensive work researchers must do to find cures for these diseases. And their efforts are paying off for thousands of kids. Still, we want to save them all...

and perhaps, with your support, we may just do that someday.

Please consider a tax-deductible gift of any amount to this one cause I've dedicated my efforts towards.

I'll wrap this up with a heartfelt message of hope and good health and good wishes to you and yours.

Many many thanks for your kindness, generosity, and love...

Jeffrey
