I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Mattie Strong

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Mattie Strong

This will be the 11th year that I'm shaving my head with St. Baldrick's to raise money and help conquer kids' cancers! Every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer worldwide, and 1 in 5 of those in the U.S. will not survive.

In July of 2020, Mattie was diagnosed with Stage 4 Synovial Cell Cancer, a very rare and aggressive Cancer.  With her mother, family and friends by her side, she has been fighting this illness.  She is such an amazing strong young woman.  Keaton's Childhood Cancer Alliance has helped support her and her family in this journey.

With everything going on the last year, fundraising efforts have been altered and changed.  But the need to raise money to help KCCA and these families is still there.   The money raised will go to help families that are dealing with childhood cancer and hopefully one day find a cure.

There will be a virtual shave and also an in person shave.  My plan is to shave in person on Saturday, March, 20th.  I will post and update as we get more information.

I refuse to accept this reality, so I’ve decided to fundraise for lifesaving research to find cures and better treatments for kids.

Now I need your support! Your donation can fund research to help kids survive and thrive.
