I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Hey, I know things are so different these days. But I am doing one thing once again that I have been doing for the past 7 years. I'm shaving my head for the 8th year in a row, with St. Baldrick's to raise money and help conquer kids' cancers! Every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer worldwide, and 1 in 5 of those in the U. S. will not survive. I refuse to accept this reality, so I’ve decided to fundraise for lifesaving research to find cures and better treatments for kids.

I personally know four people with childhood cancers, and many more than have been impacted by someone with a childhood cancer. My cousin Angela was barely an adult when she died, and now more years have passed than she ever got to live. These days, more kids who go through cancer treatments ARE surviving into adulthood, and many face lifelong chronic health issues because of the devastating effects of treatment on young, developing bodies. We need funding for childhood cancer research because the cancers and etiologies are different, but also because kids are different.

Now I need your support! Your donation to St. Baldrick’s Foundation directly goes to research to help kids survive and thrive.
