I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

This year's St Baldricks event was not like years past. There was no hugging, no bake sales, no celebration of cancer fighters. There was no reunion of my teammates, or looking out into the crowd for my loving & supportive husband's face. Yes I did shave my head with my teammates in a zoom meeting in March. But now there's the chance to do it in an official event. September is Childhood Cancer awareness month. This year is 20 years that St Baldricks has been doing this. So I'm doing it again on September 20, 2020. It is my honor to shave in memory of Mac, to shave in honor of his wonderful family.
