I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Donate 8 inches of Hair

You don't need to shave your head to make a difference. At our event, we love creative, out of the box ways that people can get involved, raise money and support our mission of funding research that will save lives.

People continually ask me if they can donate their hair to St. Baldrick's, and although the foundation itself doesn't collect hair donations,  we have partnered with the BeYOUtiful Foundation who makes wigs for people undergoing cancer treatment.  All wigs are 100% given for free under their  501 (c)3.

So by donating (at least) 8" you can raise money for St. Baldrick's AND help provide a BeYOUtiful wig to someone undergoing treatment!

Have more questions?  Check out their FAQ on the types of hair they accept, and where to send your hair donation.
