I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Teddy

Hi, I am State Senator Tony Hwang, representing Connecticut General Assembly's 28th District consisting of Fairfield, Westport, Weston, Easton & Newtown-Sandy Hook.  SenatorHwang.com

I, along with other wonderful volunteers were scheduled to shave my head with St. Baldrick's TEAM TEDDY on March 20, 2020 to raise money and help conquer kids' cancers and to honor the legacy of Teddy Gerber! BUT Covid-19 happened and changed everything.

Instead, I will be shaving my head under Covid-19 shelter-in-place mandates at home & maintaining social distance from outside..  my lovely wife, Grace will do the honors in shaving my head.  Check out this video

Despite the Coronavirus pandemic and the challenging health and economic turmoil, we still need to DFY Childhood Cancer. Every 2 minutes a child is still diagnosed with cancer worldwide, and 1 in 5 of those in the U.S. will unfortunately not survive. I refuse to accept this reality, so I’ve decided to fundraise for lifesaving research to find cures and better treatments for kids.

Now we need your support & CONTRIBUTIONS! Your generous contribution can fund research to help kids survive and thrive. Contribute today and let’s #DFYchildhoodCancers together.  Donate to Team Teddy at https://bit.ly/2xMVOyw
