I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Even COVID-19 cannot stop children from developing cancer. In fact, children with cancer are at a higher risk of severe complications, and even death, from COVID-19, due to their weakened immune systems.

I am fundraising for lifesaving research to find cures and better cancer treatments for kids. Since my original shave event was postponed, I decided to do my own ‘virtual’ shave online.  Watch the replay of my Facebook Live from Saturday, May 30, 2020. Thank you very much to all who donated!!! Your donations are going to a great cause. You also helped me reach my intermediate goal of $2000, so I also shaved off my beard. Here is the link to my Facebook page ==>

I still plan to participate and get shaved again when the original shave event is rescheduled. And, I will still continue my fundraising throughout the year. I still need your support! IF I raise at least $5000, I will also shave off my mustache,  which I have continuously worn since 1977 (43 years.) Your donation can fund research to help kids survive and thrive. Join me today and let's #DFYchildhoodCancers together.
